Show Synopsis:

The sinking of the Titanic in 1912 remains a defining disaster of the 20th century. The loss of 1,517 people, contrasted with the ship's reputation as unsinkable, defied belief. Beyond the tragedy, it prompted reevaluation of progress and class divisions. The unequal survival rates among passengers highlighted social inequalities and marked a shift in societal values. This event signaled the end of 19th-century ideologies and questioned perceptions of wealth and privilege. The musical Titanic, with a score that can be described as symphonic grandeur, explores these themes through the lens of the ship itself, portraying it as the central character.
